Hey there my beautiful people !
It's Rosa girl, and I wanted to get real with you today. Lately, I've been in a space where I've just felt stagnant. I've always prided myself on being transparent throughout my journey, and it's time to keep it real once again.
You know, after posting, emailing, just doing all of the content things and seeing little engagement, I had to take a step back and do an audit. And guess what? I even asked some of my loved ones to audit my content. It's been clear that I needed to get back to the basics. Sometimes, we all need that reality check.
One thing that's always been at the forefront of my journey is my faith in God. If you've been following me from the beginning, you know how much God has been a part of my journey in Finding Simplicity. Remember when my husband was hesitant about me leaving education? It was God who shared with him that he might be more comfortable with my career change in March of 2020. And you know what happened next - the pandemic hit!
But through it all, God has been with me every step of the way. Here I am, four years into this incredible journey, feeling grateful for where I am.
I've always had this tendency to romanticize my life, and it's safe to say I'm still dreaming over here. It's a beautiful thing to dream, but it's equally important to stay grounded in reality, don't you think? You know, sharing my life on social media has always felt easy because I've been authentically myself. But lately, I think I got a bit distracted. I got caught up in driving sales and focusing on the business side of things, and I lost sight of one of the most beautiful aspects of social media: connecting with you all.
So, darlins, I'm here to make a commitment to remain obedient and to get back to how my journey started - with faith, with me, with my family, and with design. These are the pillars that have always supported me, and it's time to reconnect with them. I'm excited to share this part of my journey with you, and I hope you'll stick around as we continue to grow, learn, and inspire each other.
This blog post is a reminder to myself and to each and every one of you: it's about more than just business and sales. It's about encouraging each other, sharing our journeys, and simply being social. Let's not forget that.
Remember, it's okay to take a step back, audit your life, and realign with what truly matters. We're all in this together, and together, we'll keep finding simplicity in the most beautiful and authentic ways.
I want to encourage you to do your absolute best in everything you do. No matter what's going on in the world - the economy, the anxiety, the trolls - don't let it deter you. Keep going, keep growing, and keep being the incredible individuals you are.
We're all in this together, and together, we can overcome whatever obstacles come our way. So, my friends, let's keep pushing forward, supporting one another, and encouraging each other to reach for our dreams.
With love and determination,
Rosa Girl
